Primary
Elementary school lays the foundation for the future. In addition to academic knowledge, interpersonal aspects, personality and mindset are developed during this year.
We give children the space and opportunities to develop individually - with project-based, bilingual lessons, lots of creativity and a genuine love of learning.
1st-6th primary class
Our elementary school is for children aged 6-12 years and corresponds to the 1st to 6th grade in elementary school.
Children in this cycle already take on responsibility and also support their younger colleagues or learn directly from each other. The combination of teaching and learning as well as the first experiences with leadership, motivation, persuasion, appearance and other social and interpersonal skills are just as important in these years as the consolidation of the basic subjects (Lehrplan21) and the child's own interests - individually for each child.
Depending on their wishes, the child can be prepared for a transition to the public Gymnasium or then seamlessly transfer to the secondary school or Gymnasium at the School of Tomorrow.
Surroundings
We do not have conventional classrooms or fixed age divisions. Rather, we offer a wide variety of learning spaces that can be used specifically depending on the project and work.
Homebase:
We do not have conventional classrooms or fixed age divisions. Instead, we offer a wide variety of learning spaces that can be used specifically depending on the project and work. The "homebase" is the main area for the respective mixed-age group - like a marketplace where everyone meets and exchanges ideas.
Micro-environments:
Then there are our so-called "micro-environments", which have specific functions and structures. Examples include a tech room, music room, library, laboratory, focus room, reading room, community room and more.
This means that each child can move around in their preferred environment and choose whether they need peace and focus for individual work or a more active environment for group work. In addition, the layout remains flexible and can be adapted or redesigned by the children. Creativity without limits!
Flexibility
Times:
The SOT does not charge extra fees for childcare time before the start or at the end of the day. This means that the arrival and pick-up times can be chosen freely and spontaneously on any school day.
Check-in and personalized start: 8:00 - 09:30 am
Check-Out and free time: 16:30 - 18:00
Vacation:
In order to further relieve the burden on families and to personalize the offer, SOT only closes for three weeks during the summer vacations and three weeks at Christmas/New Year. For the rest of the school year, SOT always remains open (except for public holidays).
Fixed: 3 weeks summer vacation and 3 weeks Christmas vacation
Flexible: Up to 6 additional vacation weeks can be taken as desired.
We only close for 6 weeks a year!
(For comparison: public schools close for 13-14 weeks, international schools even close for up to 18 weeks).
School fees:
The School of Tomorrow's primary school fees already include almost all services, thus ensuring maximum transparency and planning security. The monthly fee includes
Teaching, materials, project work, personalized curriculum and mentoring
Childcare hours from Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Hot lunch and healthy snacks every day
Only 6 weeks of school closure per year (3 weeks summer, 3 weeks Christmas)
Additional 6 vacation weeks of your choice, which can be taken flexibly
Day trips, SOT nights for families, events and more
The Friday Club (as an additional day of supervision on Fridays) is optional and can be booked flexibly per trimester.
It is possible to join the SOT at any time - the school fees are calculated on a pro rata basis.

Team structure
Our team at School of Tomorrow consists of educators, mentors and experts. The entire team meets on a weekly basis to exchange ideas, discuss projects and plans, as well as to ensure that each individual child receives the best possible learning path, support and encouragement.
Children do not get assigned to a specific teacher for their grade or for themselves personally. Rather, each and every one of our team members is there for every child. It is the child who chooses the person who fits best for the quest at hand. Our team ensures that there is variety, exchange and always new impulses - and takes the initiative where necessary.
Our locations
The School of Tomorrow offers different school grades at three locations.
Our school offers a first-class education at three locations for kindergarten, primary, middle and high school. As not all school grades are available at every location, you will find an overview here to help you choose the best possible place of learning for your child.
