Important Dates, Holidays & Vacations

As our structure is flexible and individually designed, it is possible to start at any time (if a place is available) and there is no disadvantage to starting in the middle of the year.

We have two set vacation periods each year: the Christmas break and the summer break, each lasting 3 weeks. We’re also closed from Monday through Wednesday during Holy Week. That means we’re closed for only about six and a half weeks a year in total! Of course, Zurich’s public holidays are taken into account.

In addition, 6 weeks of vacation may be taken freely and as desired!

(It should be at least one week at a time – less vacation can be taken if desired).

Every family is different. That is why our vacations are different for every child – according to the family's wishes and choices! We are convinced that time with the family and vacations do not mean an absence of learning – quite the opposite! Enriching experiences inside and outside of school time all contribute significantly to a child's development. That is why we want to encourage and support this valuable and important time as much as possible.
