Sihlberg Castle - ZH Enge

A dream comes true! In the heart of Zurich, in the Enge district, a historic castle will become the new location of the School of Tomorrow. The entire castle, including its park, is the new home for all the primary classes and the kindergarten.

The location itself hardly resembles a traditional school ... it feels more like the magical school from Harry Potter- Hogwarts.

Sihlberg Castle was built in 1898 by the Hürlimann brewery family and is located at the highest point in Zurich's Enge district. The building is a masterpiece of historicism, designed by architect August Heinrich Müller, and combines elements of the French Early Renaissance as well as Late Gothic and Baroque styles - similar to the National Museum. The palace has been a listed building since 2007 and continues to impress with its ornate architecture and magnificent rooms.

With its own castle park surrounded by nature and overlooking the city, the castle offers an inspiring and almost magical learning atmosphere. The adjoining Klopstockwiese provides additional space for sport and exercise.

Thanks to its central location, the castle is easily accessible by both public transport and car.

Arrival

Sihlberg Castle is centrally located in the city of Zurich, close to Enge railroad station and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

By public transport:
Tram 5, 13 and 17 or bus 66, 72: stop Waffenplatzstrasse. From there, it is only about a 5-minute walk to the castle.
Alternatively, take the train to Enge station, from there it is about an 8-minute walk.

By car:

You can drive onto the property to drop off and/or pick up the children. Please note that parking on site is limited.
