"I don't know whether it will be better when things change. But I do know that things have to change if they are to get better!"

– Georg Christoph Lichtenberg

All inclusive.

Tuition School of Tomorrow is structured in a simple way. It consists of a fixed amount per child - payable in advance in three equal installments (July 1, November 1 and March 1). For the 2023/2024 school year, this is as follows (tuition may be increased slightly year to year):

  • Kindergarten (age 3-5): 3x CHF 9,800 (corresponds to CHF 2,450 monthly, CHF 29,400 annually)

  • Primary (age 6-12): 3x CHF 10,200 (equivalent to CHF 2,550 monthly, CHF 30,600 annually)

For subsidized or institution-sponsored places, the tuition fee is an additional CHF 3,600 per term (+ CHF 900 per month).

Optional:

  • Friday care (all ages): 3x CHF 1,800 (equivalent to CHF 450 per month, CHF 5,400 per year).

This amount already includes practically everything:

  • School hours including classes, materials, all projects, personalized curriculum, mentoring and more

  • Care and school hours throughout Mon-Thu 8am-6pm, Fri 8am-4pm

  • Daily hot lunch as well as snacks between meals

  • Only closed a total of 6 weeks a year (otherwise always there for the children). For comparison: public schools close about 14 weeks, other international schools even 18 weeks. At the SOT, in addition to these 3+3 weeks, 6-7 additional vacation weeks may be taken as desired - but do not have to.

  • Day trips, excursions, SOT nights for the families, events and more

N.B.: It is possible to join the School of Tomorrow at any time during the current school year - if places are available. Tuition fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the date of entry.

Support for families.

Included in the school fees are events with parents and friends, which serve to support families and help connect with educators and the school, as well as to facilitate a valuable exchange within our network and the community of the School of Tomorrow.

These are not classic parent-teacher nights! Rather, these are valuable and enriching events, as a way to network within our community, but above all to actively and directly support parents and families. Through interactive exchange and specific knowledge transfer we aim to support and help to shape the holistic upbringing and education of your own children as ideally as possible, even outside the regular school hours.

If there are any futher specific wishes that are not already covered by SOT, please do let us know. Whenever possible, we try to create the ideal structure for each family.

Total flexibility.

Life is often unpredictable. As a society, we already suffer enough from "over-planning" as it is. For this reason the School of Tomorrow's approach is to create a structure that is as flexible as possible and thus supports and helps the family.

In concrete terms, this means that the SOT does not charge extra fees for childcare (pick-up and drop-off time). On each school day, you can freely and spontaneously choose the time - come to school at 8:00 a.m. or just before 10:00 a.m. (or 9:30 a.m. for primary school)? Pick up my child at 4:00 p.m. (or 4:30 p.m. for primary school) or work a little longer and pick him up shortly before 6:00 p.m.? Families have the choice - without extra costs or advance planning!

And since only the summer and Christmas vacations are fixed, families are free to take the remaining 6-7 weeks of vacation as they wish.

The first step into the future.
