A new school.
We are a new school. A school that dares to go new, unknown ways. A school that questions the old patterns, not in order to negate them across the board, but rather to learn from them. We do not question out of anarchy, but out of the natural drive for constant evolution. We build a foundation of proven methods, integrate new insights and innovate with new, modern and sustainable approaches. We are in constant change, just like our world, just like our children.
Our approach.
The basic pedagogical approach of the School of Tomorrow ensures that the children are encouraged and supported in their learning, social behavior and leisure activities. Practical philosophy combined with the specific development of character and personality, teaches children to cope well with uncertainty and all that's new. Non-violent conflict resolution, mutual respect and tolerance are developed. The school team promotes the children's competence and independence, and involves them directly in shaping the school days. We support the children on their individual learning pathways and meet them where they need us.
The main focus is less on memorization, repetition or storing knowledge, and more on experience, curiosity, self-determination and intrinsic motivation. Learning to learn, rather than remembering content. Being resourceful, rather than merely stacking up resources. Developing a strong mindset, maintaining the joy of learning and developing a healthy self-confidence - without unnecessary pressure.

Personal.
At SOT, children learn in a self-determined and individual way, but not aimlessly and without structure; the children's innate curiosity as well as their strong will to learn are nurtured.

SOT aims to offer children and parents a contemporary, flexible, future-oriented and constantly evolving school; one that is child-friendly, parent-friendly and family-friendly.
Charismatic.
SOT places a great deal of focus on the development of the child's individual personality, with all its associated skills, in order to develop a strong, individual character.
Trustworthy.
SOT strives to provide a high degree of stability, security and trust, to make children feel welcomed, protected and supported. This has a positive effect motivation, determination and self-confidence.
Social.
SOT strives for an open, loving, communicative and uplifting atmosphere in which children and educators always meet at eye-level, with respect and appreciation. The social ideal is to be applied inside and outside the school.
True-to-life.
SOT links learning, play and leisure to become an environment that is true-to-life. Targeted "out-of-classroom experiences" enhance the experience and in combination form a holistic learning model.

In the spirit of an innovative, future-oriented and ever-changing school with a broad and ever-changing offer, we never stand still. We question the status quo and dare to go new ways.
Synergetic
A good cooperation between the school and the families will help the children to feel comfortable in a holistic way; to achieve this goal we count on the cooperation of the families and do our best to play our part.
Interested.
At SOT personal interests of the students are taken seriously and - wherever possible - become an integral part of the children's projects and curriculum. We as educators do our best to understand and to build a solid relationship with each and every student.

At SOT, entrepreneurial thinking - this ability to think and act autonomously and creatively - is strongly promoted; not only in theory but especially through direct practical experience.
