Historic and modern

Our school building at Augustinerhof extends over 3 floors and 500m2 and thus offers plenty of space for creativity, fun and development. This historic building was completely renovated in 2021 and although the charm and historical character were retained, this location shows itself from the most modern side - air-conditioned rooms and good sound insulation also contribute to the comfort of our children, to feel at easy here and pursue their interests.

The layout itself is not very reminiscent of a traditional school. We do not have traditional classrooms or fixed divisions by age. Instead, we offer various rooms that can be used specifically depending on the project and work (so-called "micro-environments"). Examples are tech room, music room, library, lab, quiet room or community room. In addition, the layout remains flexible and can always be adapted or redesigned by the children. Creativity without limits!

The city - our playground

For us at School of Tomorrow, it is eminently important that the children's development and learning process does not take place in an abstract and unrealistic environment, after which a transition to the "real world" usually brings a certain shock and often requires a difficult change. We are convinced that the more our children can experience the real world from the beginning, play there, explore, discover... the simpler and easier the transition to adult life will be. That is why we deliberately looked for a location that is as central as possible, right in the middle of where everything is happening. This not only offers us as a school an extremely wide range of possibilities to integrate real-life scenarios into the curriculum, but also offers children the unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the big, wide world.

In the middle and yet away from the hustle and bustle

Just a few steps from the Lindenhof and right in the middle of Zurich, surrounded by stores, stores and the Bahnhofstrasse, as well as the idyllic alleys of the city center, churches, museums, attractions, as well as park and Limmat, lies our oasis. The School of Tomorrow is located just off Münzplatz, vis-a-vis the Augustinerkirche and right next to the Strauhof Museum. And although we are only a stone's throw away from Paradeplatz and the teeming Bahnhofstrasse, our school building in the pedestrian zone is isolated and protected from noise and all the hustle and bustle. A relaxing calm surrounds our historic building.

And where once there was a textile factory, where families lived and traded, today a unique space for personal and individualised development is being created for the children of today - the creators of tomorrow's world.

Drop off and pick up.

The SOT has very flexible pick-up and drop-off times. This serves to support the family in their own desired daily routine and to offer the child an ideal, individual rhythm.

Pick-up time is from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. each day for Kindergarten, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. each day for Primary.
Pick-up time is from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. each day for Kindergarten, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. each day for Primary.

By public transport
The SOT is centrally located in the heart of Zurich, between Rennweg and Paradeplatz. Ideally accessible by public transport with streetcar, bus or S-Bahn. From the main station it is a 5-7 minute walk or from the stop Paradeplatz or Rennweg (or Rathaus on the other side) it is only 2-3 minutes!

By car
The SOT can also be reached comfortably by car. Getting in and out of the car directly on site is guaranteed during the pick-up time as well as the pick-up time. In the morning it is allowed to drive up to the door without a permit (from 12:00 a.m. a permit is mandatory). Pick-up in the evening takes place at the end of St. Peterstrasse, about 40m from our entrance right next to Tao's restaurant.
