School Grades

"A child is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled."

Our school grades

The School of Tomorrow currently offers a kindergarten for children from the age of 4, as well as the entire primary level for children from the age of 6.

From 2025, secondary education will also be offered.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten is for children from the age of 4 to around 6, although the transition to primary school is not strictly based on age.

This transition can happen "smoothly" - i.e. the child can move on much earlier in certain areas and stay longer in others. It is important here to move away from a fixed and linear thinking according to year or predefined learning goal.

The approach of SOT is holistic, sustainable and long-term. Personalization ensures that each child can develop his or her individual potential. Thus, the cycles - as well as the school as a whole - adapt to each child.

Primary

1st-6th primary class

Our elementary school is for children aged 6-12 years and is comparable to the 1st to 6th primary class.

Children in this cycle already take on responsibility and also support their younger colleagues or learn directly from each other. The combination of teaching and learning as well as the first experiences with leadership, motivation, persuasion, appearance and other social and interpersonal skills are just as important in these years as the consolidation of the basic subjects (Lehrplan21) and the child's own interests - individually for each child.

Depending on their wishes, the child can be prepared for a transition to the public grammar school or then seamlessly transfer to the secondary school at the School of Tomorrow.

Secondary (from 2025)

Secondary school

Our secondary school consists of children aged around 12-16 and is the last part of compulsory schooling.

This cycle offers a wide variety of directions and is often decisive for the academic and professional future of the children. The SOT will offer this secondary school (possibly even with a grammar school) from 2025 so that the current pupils can continue their education seamlessly with us.

The idea here is similar to the first two levels, with a more in-depth focus on basic knowledge and opportunities for expansion in individually desired areas. To note: Since the SOT does not only aim to transfer knowledge, but rather to "learn to learn" and to strengthen the personality through the 12 core competences, the children get a valuable treasure on their way - regardless of the chosen academic or professional direction.
