1. Admission fees

2. School fees

Tuition is paid per trimester, in 3 equal installments on July 1, November 1 and March 1.

There is a CHF 1,000 discount if full annual tuition is paid in advance.

The school fees include:

  • Personal curriculum and mentoring

  • Full-day care; kindergarten elementary school: Monday–Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (optional Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m.), middle school and high school: Monday–Friday

  • In kindergarten and primary school, daily lunch and snacks

  • Flexible start and end times

  • Flexible Vacations

  • Closed for only 6 weeks a year 

  • Books, documents and consumables

  • Access to computers and technological devices

  • Local day trips and most excursions

  • SOT nights for parents

Sibling discount

We offer discounts for siblings of the same family: 1st sibling 5%, 2nd sibling 10% discount.

Note: The prices listed here are approximate, the final price will be shown on the invoice. Further details on tuition fees and charges can be found in the General Terms and Conditions.

N.B.: It is possible to join the School of Tomorrow at any time during the current school year, if places are available. Tuition fees are calculated on a pro rata basis according to the date of entry.

Support for families.

Included in the school fees are events with parents and friends, which serve to support families and help connect with educators and the school, as well as to facilitate a valuable exchange within our network and the community of the School of Tomorrow.

These are not traditional parent-teacher nights! Rather, they are valuable and enriching events that serve as opportunities to network within our community—and, above all, to actively and directly support parents and families. Through interactive exchange and targeted knowledge sharing, we aim to support and help shape the holistic upbringing and education of your children as effectively as possible, even beyond regular school hours.

If there are any futher specific wishes that are not already covered by SOT, please do let us know. Whenever possible, we try to create the ideal structure for each family.

Total flexibility.

Life is often unpredictable. As a society, we already suffer enough from "over-planning", which is why the School of Tomorrow approach is to create a structure that is as flexible as possible and thus supports and relieves the family.

In concrete terms, this means that the SOT does not charge extra fees for childcare (pick-up and drop-off time). On any school day, you can freely and spontaneously choose the time - whether at 8:00 or just before 10:00 (or 9:30 for primary school)? Pick up your child at 16:00 (or 16:30 for primary school) or work a little longer and pick them up shortly before 18:00? Families have the choice - without extra costs or advance planning!

And since only the summer and Christmas vacations are fixed, families are free to take the remaining 6–7 weeks of vacation whenever they wish.

The first step into the future.

Registration:

There is a one-off fee per child (total of CHF 3,500 for Kindergarten and CHF 4,500 for Primary) that is charged upon registration, and includes the following:

  • Application fee: One time and per child | CHF 500

  • Reimbursed with the last installment before leaving; not reimbursed for attendance shorter than 24 months | CHF 3'000

  • Materials Fee: Fee for initial personal school supplies, including a personal iPad, software, cloud access, and more | CHF 1,000. This fee is charged once per three-year school cycle, beginning in primary school i.e., grades 1–3 and 4–6 primary school . Starting in grade 7, the materials fee increases to CHF 750 per year.
    (Not applicable for kindergarten will be billed primary school upon transition from kindergarten primary school )

Experience Day:

If a school placement is generally a possibility based on the child’s age and available spots, an Experience Day is included Experience Day part of the admissions process.

If a family wishes to schedule additional trial days after School of Tomorrow has School of Tomorrow offered a spot at the school, or if the school believes it has gathered sufficient information to evaluate the child, a non-refundable fee of CHF 500 will be charged for these additional trial days. This fee must be paid before the additional trial days begin.

In certain cases, School of Tomorrow may require School of Tomorrow trial days or a trial week and may also charge a fee of CHF 500.

Please note that the CHF 500 fee is non-refundable. Participation in open house days and payment of the registration fee do not guarantee a spot at the school.

Please note

  • Children aged 6 and over at the Sihlberg and Augustinerhof locations must have an annual season ticket for zone 110 of Zurich public transport.

  • Multi-day trips, camps, trips abroad, etc. will be charged separately.

  • For subsidized or institution-sponsored places, the tuition fee is an additional CHF 3,600 per term (+ CHF 900 per month).

  • School fees can be increased annually.
