– At School of Tomorrow, we have been doing this since 2021, but with a few differences: Fridays are optional for projects and in-depth study, and in addition to the fixed six weeks of vacation, families can take up to six additional weeks according to their own needs and preferences. – A growing trend in the Canton of Zurich: More and more quiet, well-adjusted children—often girls—are leaving public schools. A report by Tele Z explores this trend, and School of Tomorrow also featured in the segment. Founder Diego de Nicola explains in the report why such children often find their way to us and how our learning environment supports them: Instead of fixed classrooms, children work in flexible microenvironments—quiet retreats for focused work as well as open areas for collaboration. This allows the learning environment to be deliberately chosen based on the task and individual needs.
